Residential real estate sales by members of the
Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Clark County economy in first quarter 2018
with 92 reported sales totaling $14,472,635. Sales continue to be a driving force
in Clark County economy.
Residential sales decreased
16 percent from 110 sales reported in first quarter 2017 to 92 sales reported in
first quarter 2018. The median sales price increased 16 percent from $129,200
in first quarter 2017 to $149,750 in first quarter in 2018. The average days on the market decreased 16
percent from 93 days in first quarter 2017 to 78 days in first quarter 2018.
Residential sales
in Clark County increased 38
percent from March 2017 with 34 sales compared to 47 sales in March 2018.
Pending sales increased from 44 in March 2017 to 47 pending sales reported in March
2018. The median sales price had increased from $133,750 in March 2017 to $147,500
in March 2018. New listings decreased 16 percent from 57 new listings in March 2017
to 48 new listings in March 2018.
