Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Woodford County economy in first half of 2018 with 159 reported sales totaling $37,548,302. Sales continue to be a driving force in Woodford County economy.
Residential sales decreased one percent from 160 sales reported in first half of the year 2017 to 159 sales reported in first half of the year 2018. The median sales price had increased from $202,000 in first half of the year 2017 to $231,600 in first half of the year in 2018. The average days on the market increased 10 percent from 51 days in first half of the year 2017 to 56 days in first half of the year 2018.
Residential sales in Woodford County decreased three percent from June 2017 with 33 sales compared to 32 sales in June 2018. Pending sales decreased from 42 in June 2017 to 40 pending sales reported in June 2018. The median sales price had decreased from $252,000 in June 2017 to $236,000 in June 2018. New listings decreased eight percent from 65 new listings in June 2017 to 60 new listings in June 2018.
